Funny Ads
Funny ads can be found everywhere we look. From television, billboards,
signs, and videos, funny ads have graced us ever since the advertising
industry was founded. Many times funny ads are created on purpose
to create humor and good will and entice a potential customer to
buy a product or service.
Airplanes already fly by the beaches of California, trailing banner
ads. It's only a matter of time until pop up ads appear during a
sunset.
There are some funny ads that have been created, however, that
have unintended humor in them. Sometimes these types of funny ads
will slip through before the advertiser is alert and can pull the
advertisement.
But, perhaps my favorite funny ads are a couple that haven't been
created yet, but surely will be. I know its coming as its just a
matter of time.

We made up this funny ad several weeks before
Google Space rolled out. So, is there any doubt that Google
Moon will soon follow?

For instance, there is now an aerospace company that launches satellites
into low earth orbit that places advertising on banners in space
and has cameras pointed towards the space ads. These aren't really
funny ads, per se, except for the location of the advertising space.
But, the fact that company will go to any length, even the outer
reaches of Earth, to hock their products.
Since I live at the beach, I've notice a phenomenon over the past
couple of years where during the middle of summer small airplanes
will fly banner advertisements behind them to show to the beachgoers.
I find this to be annoying and an invasion of the beautiful ocean
view.
This is similar to some funny ads that are
actually appearing in space already. Is no place sacred?

But, by extension, I don't see that this will stop, as it will
only get worse and go farther. That's why I've created the two funny
ads on this page. The Google Moon advertisement shows that one day
the race back to the moon and the commercialization of space will
surely result in these kinds of funny ads.
And, just as the planes at the beach fly their banners near sunset
and blocking the sun's view, one day the sunset itself will be sponsored
by General Electric.
Now, I'm not opposed to all funny ads or even the ones that have
no humor value whatsoever as I run them on this website. What I
oppose are the ridiculously funny ads that pelt our retinas and
brains on a daily basis and seem to get more absurd in order to
even get noticed.
If you have a few pictures of funny ads that you own the copyright
to, and want to share them, then send them in for all to see. Funny
ads really deserve a collective laugh.
